Making Heaven Your Home

If you’ve clicked on this link, you may be looking for more information about how to give your life to Jesus. I want you to know that all of heaven rejoices over one sinner who comes home (Lk 15:10). God is desperate for you. He’s desperate for you. So desperate He gave His one and only son, Jesus, to save you.

The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the only pathway to salvation.

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Not by your good works.

Not by your well-to-do intentions.

Not by being a “good person” or whatever you thought could make you enough.

It’s only Jesus – He’s the only one that could meet God’s perfect standard for mankind. Guess what, that is incredibly good news – He made a way so that you are saved by faith alone.

Romans 10:9 (NIV) If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NLT) God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

So if that’s you today, looking to give your heart and your life to Jesus, pray this prayer right now with me:

I need you. I acknowledge that I am a sinner – I can’t make it to heaven on my own. My goodness is not good enough.

I turn my life over to you Jesus, to be Lord and Savior of my life. I surrender my life to You, for you to lead, and I lift up my heart to you in gratefulness – Thank you for saving me!

Thank you that Heaven is now my home and that my life is in your hands, for you to lead me and guide me all the days of my life.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
